Noordeloos (ZH): reformed church

The reformed church of Noordeloos, formerly known as St. Bonifatius, was changed drastically through the centuries. It's oldest part is the lower part of the tower, which probably dates from ca. 1300. When it was heightened in 1613 this old part was hidden beneath a new layer of bricks. the two buttresses that support its western side date from the same period.
In the 15th century the choir and transept were built. The choir was lowered at some point. The southern transept-arm was demolished in 1846. In the same period the nave was completely renewed in neo-Classical style.
