Voorst municipality / Gemeente Voorst (G)
The Voorst municipality lies in the north-eastern part of Gelderland and is the most eastern located municipality of the Veluwe region. Although named after the eponymous village, the administrative center is its largest village Twello. This page shows the most important, and a few less important, churches in the municipality.
De gemeente Voorst ligt in het noordoosten van Gelderland, en is de meest oostelijk gelegen gemeente van de Veluwe. Hoewel de gemeente is vernoemd is naar het gelijknamige dorp, is het administratief centrum het grootste dorp Twello. The reformed church is a three-aisled pseudo-basilica in Gothic style, with a Romanesque tower from the 12th century. The choir and nave were built in the 15th century, the tower was heightened after that.

The Gereformeerde kerk is an aisleless church ornamented with elements in early neo-Gothic style. It was built as a coach house in 1847 and was converted into a church in 1896. It closed in 1986 and is currently used for cultural purposes.

Bussloo
The St. Martinus is a three-aisled church in neo-Classical style. It was built in 1818 and was closed 200 years later. It's now mainly used for concerts.

Wilp
The reformed church is an aisleless church with a Romanesque nave and tower from the 11th and 12th centuries and a much higher Gothic choir from the 16th century. The transept at the south side was built as part of a restoration in 1949-1953, replacing an element that was destroyed during fighting in April 1945.

De hervormde kerk is een eenbeukige kerk met een romaans schip en toren uit respectievelijk de 11e en 12e eeuw en een veel hoger gotisch koor uit de 16e eeuw. De dwarsarm aan de zuidkant werd gebouwd als onderdeel van een restauratie in 1949-1953, ter vervanging van een bouwdeel dat tijdens gevechten in april 1945 werd verwoest.

Twello
The reformed church is an aisleless church in Gothic style, with a tower built in the early 15th century, a choir from the second half of the 15th century and a nave built in ca. 1500.

The St. Martinus is a three-aisled pseudo-basilica in neo-Gothic style, designed by G. te Riele and built in 1887-1888 on the site of the coach house of Duistervoorde castle, which had served as a catholic church for several decades.

The H. Hartkapel (Sacred Heart chapel) is an aisleless building in late-Traditionalist style, designed by A.J.M. Vosman and built in 1960 as part of a Salesian monastery.

Terwolde
The reformed church is a two-aisled church in Gothic style with a remarkable saddleback tower built in ca. 1350. The nave from the late-13th century was enlarged with the current choir in ca. 1400 and itself heightened and expanded with a side-aisle in 1540.

Pniël is the name of a small aisleless chapel built in 1903 for the Reformed Evangelisation. It was closed in ca. 2005 and is nowadays a house.

De Vecht
The St. Antonius van Padua is a three-aisled cruciform pseudo-basilica in neo-Gothic style. It was designed by H. Kroes and built in 1920-1921. It was closed in 2015.

Bethel (or Beth-El as the sign on the facade says) is a small aisleless church built for the Reformed Evangelisation in 1925. It closed in 2013 and has now a social and cultural function.

The reformed church is an aisleless church in Gothic style, with a 14th-century nave and tower and a choir from the 15th century. The tower was heightened in the 16th century.

The O.L. Vrouw ten Hemelopneming is a centralising cruciform church in Expressionist style, designed by C. Hardeman and built in 1929-1930. It closed in 2015 and is now a cultural center.
