Bernheze municipality was formed in 1994 by merging the Heeswijk-Dinther, Heesch and Nistelrode municipalities. Administrative center and largest population center is the town Heesch which, as it has no church of importance, is not on this page.

St. Lambertus is a three-aisled pseudo-basilica, designed by
H.C. van de Leur and
built in 1932-1933. The architect used the Expressonist style of his former
employer, monk-architect Dom P. Bellot. Location: Kerkstraat 2

complex, built in 1938, was designed in Traditionalist style. In 1982 it was

The
St. Lambertus is a hall-church in
neo-Classical style, built in 1841-1842 on the
site of a medieval chapel. The church was extended with a transept and a new front in 1921, a
change which was undone again in 1973-1974. The current facade is a
reconstruction of the original. Location: Laar 49
