Voorne aan Zee was formed in 2023 by merging the former municipalities Brielle, Hellevoetsluis and Westvoorne and covers the western part of the former island Voorne. Largest town and administrative center is Hellevoetsluis, second is the town Brielle. This page shows churches in some of the locations of the municipality and is not complete.

is an aisleless church in simple Classical style, built between 1661 and 1686

The reformed church comprises the transept, choir and tower of a Gothic church
of the late-15th and early-16th centuries. The nave was destroyed by a fire in
ca. 1575. Location: Ring 1

The Catharijnekerk is Brielle's main church and has been used by the protestants ever since 1572. It's a three-aisled Brabantine-Gothic church, built between 1417 and 1482. Because of financial reasons work on the church stopped well before it was completed.

The Kleine of Jacobskerk is the former chapel of a hospital and dates from the 15th century. It was used by the protestants until 1970 and now houses a doctor's practise.

The former
Beguinage chapel was built in ca. 1480 and only served until 1572. After that
year it served non-religious purposes and lost much of its original look. It's
currently used for housing. Location: Coppelstockstraat 13

Geuzenkerk is an aisleless church in Eclectic style, designed by
W.C. Coepijn and built in 1872-1873. It was closed in 1968 and, after a long period of

Also
named Martelaren van Gorcum is the pilgrimage church
just outside the old centre, built on the site where in 1572 the Martyrs of Gorcum were murdered
by protestant pirates. It's a big church in Traditionalist style and was
built in 1929-1931 after a design by H.P.J. de Vries.

Eveneens genaamd Martelarenplein van Gorcum is de bedevaartkerk net buiten het oude centrum, gebouwd op de plaats waar in 1572 de martelaren van Gorcum werden vermoord door de Watergeuzen. Het is een grote kerk in traditionalistische stijl en werd gebouwd in 1929-1931 naar een ontwerp van H.P.J. de Vries.
