The old village church burned down in 1899 and was replaced in 1900-1901 by the current reformed Grote kerk, a three-aisled cruciform church in a modern Neo-Gothic style, designed by B. Hooijkaas. Location: Overschiese Dorpsstraat 95

The catholic St. Petrus' Banden is a one-aisled church in Neo-Classical style, designed by P. Adams, town architect of Rotterdam, and built in 1830. Location: Delftweg 13

The Geref. Bethlehemkerk was built in 1896 and was designed by Tj. Kuipers in moderate Neo-Renaissance style. The front was originally crowned by a steeple. Location: Delftweg 84
