Please sign the guestbook if you have any comments or visit the weblog if you have any questions. Due to overwhelming abuse by people who insist to send me commercial crap and technical problems, I unfortunately had to drastically limit my use of e-mail.

Holland or the Netherlands?

(Essential reading for anyone who wants to learn about this country)

Archimon is a growing source of information about the history of religious architecture in The Netherlands. New pages are added regularly, existing pages are reviewed and updated constantly. See the weblog for  the latest news.

Pages are filed under the following categories. If you look for certain subjects but aren't sure how to find them, try the search-engine. Chances are you might find something useful!

History & styles is just that; the illustrated history of religious architecture and its styles in the Netherlands, from ca. the year 1000 until the 1950's.

Architects provides information about architects of churches, both famous and not so famous, and their work.

Attention: some pages have pop-up advertisements. Do not close these but minimalize them only, and no new ones should show up. You might also consider downloading Pop-Up Stopper. It works! Or even better; use Mozilla to surf on the internet and decide whether you want pop-ups or not.
